Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a group of inherited red blood cell disorders. Red blood cells contain haemoglobin, a protein that carries oxygen. Healthy red blood cells are round, and they move through small blood vessels to carry oxygen to all parts of the body. It is no news that we lost the NATIONAL SECRETARY of PSN-YPG, Pharm. Princewill Ugochukwu Okitche to the cold hands on death on the June 15, 2022 due to a fatal accident. On this note, the NEC has decided to organize a fundraiser to support the family of our late friend, colleague whose burial is slated for 2nd July 2022
